We Love Fall...and Halloween...and the Tooth Fairy

We love Fall....love the weather it brings and all the fun things to do...and all the cute Halloween & Fall clothes the girls get to wear........

On, Tuesday, October 19, 2010, Sophie lost her 4th tooth at school...this time she came home with it in the tooth necklace she so wanted!

The tooth fairy came and left her a nice surprise! Even mommy was surprised - $5.00! Maybe the tooth fairy wanted to cheer her up after her bad day at school when she lost her tooth. A girl in her class told her she "looked stupid without her tooth" and then pushed her down. Oh, how that hurt my heart so bad. It hurt Sophie's too...she is so sensitive, just like me.

October 7, 2010 - Emmeline has a lot of trouble with her tonsils and sleep apnea, so the doctor ordered them out along with her adenoids. She had to stay over night in the hospital. She did very well, and was such a big girl. It was a little difficult to keep this "wild woman" as she likes to call herself now, in the room and rest. She is still not feeling 100% and not eating much at all, but she is improving. We are thankful that the good Lord was there with us to protect her and guide the doctors and to heal her....it is a routine surgery, but there are always risks.

October 4, 2010 - Went to our friend's cotton field for an attempt at some fall pictures....went better than I anticipated...did not turn out as I hoped.

Fall Family Festival

October 2, 2010 - We went to the Fall Family Festival downtown and Am-Ma came along with us. The girls rode ponies, jumped/played/slid on the inflatables, and painted pumpkins. We saw lots of friends and the girls had a great time.

September 10, 2010

Emmeline celebrated at day care/school with her friends with cupcakes. After school we went to play at the park. Then daddy surprised us by taking us to play putt-putt (since all of the tourist are gone now) and out to eat.

Sept. 12, 2010 - we celebrated Emmeline's 3rd Birthday with a pool/waterslide party at Papa & Ammy's house - the theme was Alligators since Emme loves alligators now.

When everyone sang Happy Birthday, Emme reached up for Sophie's hand....it was so sweet, I thought I was going to cry.

August 2010

August was a busy month - with a move for us to Nana's rental house for a couple of months. It sure is tiny, but we are making do. We will then move to our other/"new" home when Ron is finished remodeling/updating. It has been a hard, emotional, life changing year for us - mainly because of the economy & Ron's job. We had to move and will be moving into a home that is smaller, not new, and not near as nice, but it is alot nicer than a lot of people have - thanks to our families! We are having to readjust our way of living, but it was probably a blessing in diguise. I will have to admit is was like a death to me. I loved my house. But it is just a house - our Lord and family make it a home. It is just stuff & things and none of it neccessities. We are blessed with our loving, unfailing God, health, family and some great friends. With the hard times still come precious and fun times - school starting, football games, and still hot weather to enjoy!
